Hill Dickinson boost new Leeds office with commercial health legal director

Hill Dickinson has hired commercial health specialist Esther Venning as a legal director in its new Leeds office.

Venning, who previously worked at DAC Beachcroft’s Leeds office for nine years, advises commissioners and providers of health and social care services on commercial, contractual and governance issues, such as integration projects, joint ventures, section 75 agreements, shared services arrangements, income generation and primary and secondary care contracting.

At Hill Dickinson she will work closely with commercial health partner Rob McGough, who jointly heads up the Leeds office with health litigation partner Mike McKenna.

McGough said: "Esther’s arrival marks an exciting time for us as we build our presence in Leeds. Her impressive skill set will enhance our existing commercial offering and her understanding of the challenges faced by clients makes her a real asset to the team. We are delighted she has chosen to join us."

Hill Dickinson’s national health practice operates out of offices in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and London, providing legal advice and support to the NHS and independent healthcare organisations. The firm acts for more than 100 NHS bodies and is on all of the national framework agreements – NHS SBS, NHS CPC, HealthTrust Europe, NHS Resolution and NHS Commercial Alliance.
