Kings Chambers names planning silk as new Head of Chambers

Kings Chambers has elected planning silk Paul Tucker QC as Head of Chambers, following the appointment of Nigel Poole QC to the High Court Bench.

Tucker, who is the Vice Chairman of the Planning Environmental Bar Association, was previously Deputy Head at the set.

He will be replaced in that role by Technology and Construction, Professional Negligence and Arbitration silk Andrew Singer QC.

Director of Clerking Stephen Loxton said: “We are delighted that Paul and Andrew have assumed their new roles and look forward to continuing the excellent work of those that preceded them. We are all tremendously excited about the future of chambers under Paul’s energetic and insightful leadership.”

Poole was one of six new High Court judges appointed in mid-September, and has been assigned to the Family Division.
