Local authority department up for in-house team of year at Yorkshire Legal Awards

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council has been shortlisted for in-house team of the year at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2025.
Also in the running are the Government Legal Department, HSBC, Keepmoat, Liberty Blume, Lloyds Banking Group and the National Wealth Fund.
Christopher Bates, a barrister at the Government Legal Department, has meanwhile been shortlisted in the In-House Lawyer of the Year category.
The awards are being held tonight (9 October) at New Dock Hall in Leeds.
