Leeds City Council names Pinsent Masons as legal advisers to East Leeds Extension

Leeds City Council has appointed Pinsent Masons as legal advisers on the East Leeds Extension.
Earlier this month the local authority launched a number of community consultation events on the project, which covers a large areas of undeveloped land around the edge of Swarcliffe, Whinmoor and Crossgates identified for housing.
The development includes a 7.5km dual carriageway road and is expected to deliver 5,000 homes.
The contract value is estimated to be £200,000 excluding VAT. The council said it received four offers for the role.
