Council to appoint legal adviser to £125k contract to support compulsory purchase for major estate regeneration scheme

Wokingham Borough Council is looking to appoint a specialist compulsory purchase adviser, lawyer or firm to a £125,000 contract to advise on a key estate regeneration project.
The council said the chosen provider would need to be “able to provide advice and prepare all necessary documents and take all necessary steps required for the making, confirmation and implementation of the Compulsory Purchase Order for the delivery of the Gorse Ride Estate Regeneration Project”.
The closing date is 19 September 2018.
The contract is expected to start on 15 October 2019 and run until 30 October 2020.
