NHS Legal Framework Webinar Series - Masterclass on NHS Continuing Care for Adults and Children
This webinar will examine some of the legal issues that practitioners in Healthcare Law commonly encounter.
The NHS in England spends over £10bn each year supporting adults and children who are eligible for continuing care. Managing these cases, including making sure care needs are met and that costs are proportionate, gives rise to a series of complex legal challenges.
Those registering will be provided in advance with a guide to continuing care for adults and children. The webinar will build on that guide to examine a series of issues which commonly arise in practice and where a greater understanding of the legal framework and nuanced handling is needed.
In 2024, members of Landmark Chambers, including those speaking at this event, contributed and authored the second edition of NHS Law and Practice published with LAG, a comprehensive guide to the complex legal framework underpinning the modern NHS.
