Enter today - lawyers urged to apply for Lawyers in Local Government awards
Local government lawyers who have made a difference to their employing authorities are being urged to enter the Lawyers in Local Government (LLG) awards, the closing date for which is fast approaching.
Submissions must be made by close of play on 15 August 2014.
LLG spokesman Nicholas Dobson said submissions were welcome in all categories but particularly in:
- Adult social care and health;
- Employment;
- Housing and Regeneration; and
- Partnership and procurement.

The awards ceremony will be held at the Rosewood Hotel in London on 29 November 2014, with tickets costing just £60.
