LLG invites applications for Deputy Vice President, Regional Directors and Junior National Lead

LLG (Lawyers in Local Government) is inviting applications for a range of roles including the position of Deputy Vice President (DVP).

On the DVP role, the group said: “If you have the strategic vision to lead the company at pace whilst applying creative vision to the provision of membership services; this role will provide a stimulating, rewarding and career enhancing opportunity placing you in direct contact with key stakeholders and corporate partners.”

The DVP role will commence from the AGM on 29 March 2023, with the successful candidate automatically appointed as Vice President in 2024 and LLG President in 2025.

LLG is also inviting applications for six Regional Director positions after a review of its existing branch structure. They are:

  • North (made up of the current geographical branches of the Northeast, Northwest, and Yorkshire and Humber.
  • Eastern (made up of the current geographical branch of Eastern)
  • South (made up of the current geographical branches of Southern, Southeast and the Southwest)
  • London (made up of the current geographical branch of London)
  • Midlands (made up of the current geographical branches of East Midlands and West Midlands)
  • Wales (made up of the current geographical branch of Wales).

The group is also looking for an “enthusiastic and dedicated junior lawyer” to become the National Lead for LLG, who will be the public face of LLG providing the voice of Junior Lawyers (under 5 years PQE or pre-qualification).
