At the same time, many are concerned about cross-border hiring, congestion, standards, rider safety and unfair competition to local businesses. In the latest of his renowned Masterclass series, Philip Kolvin QC will provide practical solutions for the regulation of the modern private hire industry. Proceeding from an analysis of taxi and local government statutes and case law, he will demonstrate for the first time that local authorities have all the tools they need to bring the private hire industry under more effective control.
