Description

Compliance with the PSED is an important step for social landlords when bringing or continuing with possession proceedings.

How should it be addressed and documented, and when? What do judges expect to see? What can be done if the duty has been overlooked or not properly complied with?

Members of Cornerstone's Housing Team are ideally placed to discuss the latest developments in this important area of the law, having been involved in some of the leading cases concerning the PSED. In this webinar the team will:

• Summarise the key principles of law
• Review the latest case law, including Luton Community Housing Ltd v Durdana[2020] EWCA Civ 445
• Give some practical tips for decision makers and those involved with the service of notices and issuing/progress of possession proceedings
• Answer questions from the audience
