If you have responsibility for handling planning enforcement appeals, you will know that at present there is a standstill at PINS, with remote 'events' not being expected for six months. When those begin to take place, enforcement appeals are likely to be at the back of the queue. It is likely to be a long time before your enforcement appeals are resolved this way - and all the while the harm that lies behind them is ongoing.

Mediation could be a swift and inexpensive answer to this problem.

In this webinar specifically targeted at local authorities, Josef Cannon, from Cornerstone Barristers, and Harry Spurr, from IPOS Mediation, will provide an overview of the main issues organisations are facing. There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions and discuss your own experience.

In the meantime, please find here the link to a flyer explaining how accredited mediators and experienced planning barristers like Josef and Harry can help resolve your enforcement appeals by way of remote mediation - for a fraction of the cost of an enforcement appeal, and soon.

Please note that registrations close on 11 May at 13:30.
