Cost: This event is free of charge and we are instead welcoming voluntary donations to our chosen charity FRU on Just Giving https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/broadway-house-chambers1. FRU has been providing representation in social security and employment tribunals since 1972. They help people who are not eligible for legal aid and cannot afford lawyers. Do not worry if you are unable to donate, this is entirely optional!

We are delighted to announce that our Employment Law Annual Conference will take place this year over Zoom, 12pm-4pm on Thursday 24th September 2020.

  • 12.00-12.15pm Introduction
  • 12.15-1.15pm Coronavirus from an Equality Act and TUPE Perspective (Paul Smith & Paul Dormand)
  • 1.15-2.00pm Worker Status (Matthew Rudd & Harry Wiltshire)
  • 2.00-2.30pm Break
  • 2.30-3.15pm Redundancy (Adam Willoughby & Fen Greatley-Hirsch)
  • 3.15-4.00pm Continuity of Employment and the Impact of Furlough (Rachel Mellor)
