The public sector equality duty (PSED) continues to test local authority officers, lawyers and the courts, especially when dealing with such matters as homelessness reviews and appeals, possession claims and allocation schemes.

This webinar aims to demystify the PSED, its requirements and effect, in particular when dealing with possession notices and claims. It will include a discussion of Taylor v Slough Borough Council [2020] EWHC 3520 (Ch) in which Ruchi Parekh acted for the successful local authority. Ruchi is one of the speakers at this event, and will be joined by Dean Underwood and Andy Lane.
