This course will provide attendees with an understanding of the foundations and principles of public rights of way. This will include the relevant legislation, case law and procedures. Attendees will look at the role of the local authority as acting as surveying authority advising their council officers and members on public rights of way.

By the end of the course the attendees will have a good understanding of the legislation and the key principles and will feel equipped to provide advice on public rights of way.
