On 22 June 2022 the Justice Secretary, Dominic Raab MP, introduced the clumsily entitled Bill of Rights Bill to the House of Commons. Its preamble said the Bill was to "Reform the law relating to human rights", at the same time as the Human Rights Act 1998 would be repealed.
In this one-hour webinar, Ranjit Bhose QC, Estelle Dehon QC, Andy Lane, Dr Sam Fowles, and Verity Bell will explore and explain the Bill's provisions, concentrating on its impact on social care, local government, housing and environmental law, and its constitutional and procedural implications.
