Join us for a two-day hybrid event at the Edgbaston Park Hotel in Birmingham, for an opportunity to hear from a line of up of expert speakers and network in a professional legal setting. Please note that the second day will run as an online only event on Friday 18th November 2022.

The Governance Conference brings together a diverse range of perspectives to consider just how excellent governance can enable ours local authorities to make the greatest impact they can for all. The conference will explore the issues surrounding governance & ways to improve governance in practice.

The conference programme presents an opportunity to engage with local government leaders and legal experts, and more importantly, allows to join in the discussion and knowledge sharing with colleagues from all areas of local government law. Day one, taking place on 11th November, is open to attending in person or remotely. This will consist of a full day conference programme. Delegates attending in person will have the opportunity to attend the company exhibition and to network with colleagues. Further, in-person attendees have an opportunity to book a place at an informal dinner taking place the Edgbaston Park Hotel on Friday 11 November. Day two, taking place on 18th November 2022 will take place fully remotely, via the Zoom conference platform. The conference programme and will consist of both plenary and breakout sessions.
