We are delighted to offer a new face-to-face training and development seminar specifically tailored to the learning and development needs of junior lawyers. The seminar will provide attendees with a full day of thorough, practical learning on some key areas particular to working as a lawyer in local government, delivered by highly experienced local authority practitioners.

The seminar will explore areas including local authority governance, overview and scrutiny, decision making, judicial review, the role of the MO, working with members, personal resilience, knowing your client, and developing a career as a lawyer in a local authority.

In addition to hearing from expert speakers from both local government and private practice, attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with other junior lawyer colleagues, as well as with members of the LLG Board.
