Description

Following the Soham murders in 2002 the Bichard Report identified the need to ensure that safer recruitment practices were identified and adopted when recruiting new staff who work with children. Safer recruitment training is vital for any leaders and staff who lead recruitment as it ensures that children and vulnerable adults stay safe.

This course will provide you with a clear overview of the recruitment process and the steps you need to take to ensure you have adopted safer recruitment protocols. With a mix of explanation, case studies and practical tasks the course will enable you to successfully and confidently lead recruitment in your own organisation.
