New Square Chambers return again for their annual conference dealing with all matters connected to public rights of way, common land and village greens.

Speakers will be unpacking issues relating to public rights of way, village greens and statutory incompatibility and addressing the law relating to controversial uses of land accessible to the public.

There will be a case law update bringing delegates up to date with developments in the area:

• Rollright (diversion of footpaths under s. 119 HA 1980 - permission to appeal to Supreme Court refused - what now?)
