The increased use of drones, body worn camera and facial recognition has made the operation of CCTV systems extremely complex. The application of AI to these technologies further increases the legal and regulatory risk. Public Authorities and commercial organisations need to comply not only with the UK GDPR but also RIPA and the Human Rights Act.
This one-day workshop examines all the issues in detail by discussing practical scenarios. It will teach you how to plan and implement a CCTV project including key skills such as completing a Data Protection Impact Assessment and assessing camera evidence. Our expert trainer will answer all your questions including when you can use CCTV, when it can be covert, who you can share images with and how to deal with a request for images. This workshop is suitable for anyone involved in the operation of CCTV, body worn cameras and drones particularly DPOs, investigators, CCTV operators, enforcement officers, estate managers and security personnel.
