Join us for our 1 day virtual workshop dealing with Permitted Development.
This practical one-day workshop will help local planning authority enforcement officers assess claims that development benefits from permitted development rights. Focusing on householder development, agricultural buildings and works, Class Q conversions, and temporary uses of land, it will explore the issues that make these cases difficult to investigate and resolve. Officers will develop a structured approach to checking whether rights apply, interpreting conditions and limitations, and establishing what evidence is needed.
Through worked examples and interactive case studies, delegates will practise applying the rules to development encountered on site, identifying any breach of planning control and considering an appropriate enforcement response. The emphasis will be on building confidence in reaching clear, defensible conclusions and explaining them to owners, complainants and colleagues.
Course runs from 9:30am to 4:30pm
Cost: £200 plus VAT per delegate
