Regulator of health and care professions to procure £5.9m legal services panel

The Health and Care Professions Council has given notice of its intention to procure a three-lot legal services panel worth an estimated £5.9m.

It plans to divide the framework into the following lots:

  1. Corporate Advice;
  2. Regulatory Advice;
  3. FTP [fitness to practise] Case Specific Advice (this lot does not include FTP case preparation and presentation services, this is a separate contract not currently due to retender).

The contracts are due to commence in April 2021 for four years with an option to extend for a up to a further year.

A bidder can bid for all three lots but can only be selected as the preferred bidder for a maximum of two lots.
