Health procurement body names ten firms to £40m 2023 legal services framework

Procurement organisation HealthTrust Europe LLP (HTE) has appointed ten law firms to a legal services framework worth an estimated £40m over four years.

The successful firms were:

  • Bevan Brittan
  • Browne Jacobson
  • Capsticks
  • Clyde & Co
  • DAC Beachcroft
  • Hempsons
  • Hill Dickinson
  • Kennedys Law
  • Ward Hadaway
  • Weightmans

These are the same ten firms HealthTrust Europe appointed to its 2019 framework.

Awarded suppliers are required to be able to advise on:

  • Corporate
  • Healthcare including Mental Health Law
  • Commercial
  • Employment
  • Real Estate and Property Law
  • Cyber, Data Protection and Information Law
  • Finance
  • Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)

There are, in addition, a number of specialist areas of law which are deemed optional.

The contract was awarded on the basis of price (weighting: 30), cost/quality (weighting: 60) and cost/social value (weighting: 10).

The framework has been awarded for a period of three years, with the option to extend for one period of 12 months at HTE's discretion.
