Borough appoints Anthony Collins Solicitors to advise on procurement of major housing maintenance contract

Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council has appointed Anthony Collins Solicitors to provide legal support on the procurement of a major housing maintenance contract.
The local authority is looking to appoint a new service provider to undertake housing maintenance services when its contract with Mears expires at the end of September 2022.
Welwyn Hatfield has also appointed Faithorn Farrell Timms as a consultant on the procurement.
The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 60) and price (weighting: 40). Eight tenders were received for the legal services lot.
The total value of the two lots is estimated to be £200,000.
