South West housing procurement consortium names eight firms to £9m legal services framework

A procurement organisation owned by social housing providers in the South West has appointed eight law firms to a legal services framework estimated to be worth up to £9m over six years.
The framework was divided by Advantage South West into the following lots:
- New Build Development
- Treasury & Governance
The successful firms were:
- Ashfords (lot 1)
- Bevan Brittan (lots 1 and 2)
- Capsticks (lots 1 and 2)
- Devonshires (lot 2)
- Foot Anstey (lot 1)
- Penningtons Manches Cooper (lot 1)
- Stephens Scown (lot 1)
- Trowers & Hamlins (lots 1 and 2)
Advantage South West is owned by:
- Abri
- LiveWest
- North Devon Homes
- Ocean Housing
The framework is in place from 13 July 2022 to 12 July 2026 with the option to extend for a further two years.
