HB Public Law shortlisted for two Law Society Excellence Awards

HB Public Law – the shared legal service between Harrow and Barnet Councils – has been shortlisted for two categories in the Law Society’s Excellence Awards for 2014.
The organisation has been included in the Lexcel Award for Excellence in Practice Management and the Excellence in Business Development & Innovation category.
Geoff Wild, Director of Governance and Law at Kent County Council, has meanwhile been shortlisted for Solicitor of the Year – In-house.
Other notable shortlistings include:
- Nicholas Crichton, judge at the Family Drug and Alcohol Court: Law Society Gazette Legal Personality of the Year;
- Diane Morrison, Hackney Community Law Centre: Junior Lawyer of the Year and Solicitor of the Year – In-house.
The awards ceremony will be held on 9 October.
