Trowers makes two senior local government hires to expand presence in north

Trowers and Hamlins LLP has recruited Eversheds' partner Mike Mousdale and Gerry Budd, the former County Solicitor and Monitoring Officer at Cheshire County Council, to its Manchester office in an effort to increase its footprint in the north of England.

Mousdale, who was a partner at Eversheds, is a procurement and projects specialist who led the Local Authority team in the Greater Manchester Waste PFI, the largest waste PFI/PPP in Europe.

Gerry Budd, who joins the firm as a consultant, has more than 27 years legal experience in local government, across a broad range of local authority legal work.
