Legal procurement consultancy names Edwards as head of public sector

Edwards has worked in local authority legal departments for 19 years, the last eight as director of legal services at two authorities.

Her most recent appointment was at oneSource, the shared legal service between the London boroughs of Havering and Newham.

Edwards will be the lead contact for the London Boroughs Legal Alliance and the Housing Associations Legal Alliance, both of which Kennedy Cater help to run.

She replaces Vivienne Horton, who will remain with the company as a consultant.
