Alliance of housing associations names 15 firms to joint panel

The Housing Associations Legal Alliance has unveiled the 15 firms selected for its joint panel.
The four members of the alliance are Viridian Housing, the Peabody Trust, Metropolitan Housing Trust and Phoenix Community Housing.
Some 36 offers were made and the successful firms were:

The framework agreement has the option for additional housing associations or registered providers of social housing in England to join during its term.
The chosen firms will advise on a range of areas: housing and asset management; sales and leasehold (including shared ownership); development; commercial property; employment and pensions; corporate and governance; and treasury/funding.
The weighting was service delivery (40%), value-added benefits (30%) and price (30%). An electronic auction was used as part of the selection process.
