GMC launches tender for advocacy services for HCE Application hearings

This includes those under the weekly fixed listing date system and any exceptional cases falling outside this system.

The GMC said the tender applied to HCE applications made in England and Wales only and did not include advocacy services in relation to appearing before the Interim Orders Panel, Fitness to Practice Panel and/or defending challenges issued in the High Court under the provisions of s.41A(10) of the Medical Act 1983 against Interim Orders.

The contract will last 36 months from the date of the award.
