Manchester housing association to set up panel of solicitors

Mosscare Housing has divided the services into the following lots:

1. Property and Development;

2. Housing Management;

3. Employment Law;

4. Corporate Finance;

5. Governance; and

6. Commercial and Procurement.

The framework agreement will be available for use by all members of the group, namely Mosscare Housing, Mossbank Homes, Mosscare Developments and Mosscare Shared Services.

The framework agreement will be established for three years commencing with the contract award with the option for Mosscare to extend for an additional year.

Mosscare said appointments to Lots 1, 2 and 6 would be strictly on the basis of a non-exclusive agreement. In the case of Lots 3, 4 and 5 the intention is to appoint upon an exclusive basis for each lot.

The group owns and manages nearly 5,000 homes in Manchester, Stockport, Tameside and Trafford.
