SME investment agency in Wales to set up £1m legal services framework

Finance Wales, an agency that invests in small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), is to set up a legal services framework worth an estimated £1m.
The framework will run for three years with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
It will have 18 distinct subject areas. These include: the Financial Conduct Authority; fund management and corporate advice; employment law; debt investment and commercial contracts; equity investment and commercial contracts; intellectual property; property development; rescue and restructuring firms in difficulty; legal charges; bankruptcy; and insolvency.
Finance Wales’ investments range from £1,000 to £2m. It invests in start-ups and early stage enterprises as well as more established businesses.
