Affordable housing provider chooses six law firms for £5m panels

The work was divided into six lots:

1. Property;

2. Housing Management;

3. Home Ownership;

4. Employment;

5. Finance and Corporate;

6. General Commercial including IT.

The successful firms were:

• Devonshires (lots 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6);
• Blake Morgan (lots 1 and 3);
• Penningtons Manches (lot 4);
• TLT (lots 3 and 6);
• Trowers & Hamlins (lot 1);
• Clarke Willmott (lot 2).

The contracts were awarded on the basis of the most economically advantageous tender in terms of quality (weighting 65) and price (weighting 35).

The contract is to run for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for a further two additional 12-month periods, subject to review at each anniversary.

Radian provides around 21,000 affordable homes in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, Sussex and Wiltshire. Through Radian Support it also provides care and support to help people live independently across the South East.
