Pension Protection Fund to set up panel of law firms

The contract is divided into two lots:

1. Legal services to the PPF board: including pensions; financial services; litigation; and insolvency.
2. Assessment period tasks: including admissible rules; benefit specification; deeds of removal and appointment; risk identification (including identification of potential claims); equalisation review; and ad-hoc advice.

The panel agreement will be for an initial period of two years with the option to extend for up to two further periods of 12 consecutive months each.
