Yorkshire council to set up £500k legal services panel

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council is to procure a £500,000 legal services framework agreement to cover all aspects of its and associated organisations’ activities.

There are 11 lots:

1. Company and Commercial Law;
2. Employment Law and Human Resources;
3. General Litigation;
4. Charity Law;
5. Property Law;
6. Public Law and Corporate Governance;
7. Housing Law;
8. Planning Law;
9. Highways, Transportation and Compulsory Acquisition;
10. Adult Social Services and Community Care Law;
11. Insolvency.

The contract is for 24 months, plus potentially two one-year extensions.
