Scottish Government names 11 firms to £15m legal services panel

The Scottish Government has appointed 11 law firms to a £15m panel providing legal services to central government organisations in Scotland.
The framework agreement has been divided into six lots:
- Contract, commercial and corporate.
- Debt recovery.
- Litigation, reparation, employment and inquiries.
- Major infrastructure and commercial projects (incl related litigation).
- Property and related matters.
- One stop shop (encompassing all other lots).
The successful firms were:
- Anderson Strathern (lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- Addleshaw Goddard (2)
- Brodies (1, 3, 5)
- CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang (4)
- DWF (4)
- Gilson Gray (6)
- Harper Macleod (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- MacRoberts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- Morton Fraser (2, 3, 5, 6)
- Shepherd and Wedderburn (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6)
- Thorntons Law (1)
The contract was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 70) and price (weighting: 30) except lot 4 where the weightings were 80 and 20 respectively.
