Public bodies in Scotland combine to procure £3.9m legal services framework agreement

A consortium of Scottish councils, a major social landlord and other public bodies are to procure a legal services framework worth an estimated £3.9m.
The group comprises:
- Glasgow City Council
- The Wheatley Group
- North Lanarkshire Council
- North Ayrshire Council
- Glasgow Life (Culture and Sport Glasgow)
- City Building (Glasgow) LLP
- City Property (Glasgow) LLP
- City Parking (Glasgow) LLP
- Community Safety Glasgow
- Cordia (Services) LLP
- Jobs and Business Glasgow
The framework, which is to last 48 months, has been divided into the following lots:
- Education Prosecutions (a single supplier will be appointed to this lot only).
- Employment.
- Corporate.
- General litigation.
- Children and Families – Advice and Representation.
- General Conveyancing
- Construction
The legal department of Glasgow City Council will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the agreement.
