City council to procurement child advocacy barrister services worth £1.5m

Details

Liverpool City Council is to procure child care advocacy barrister services worth an estimated £1.5m.

The services include, but are not limited to:

  • Care and placement order proceedings
  • Contact
  • Discharges of s.31 care orders
  • Adoption applications
  • Secure accommodation orders
  • Forced marriage
  • Female genital mutilation
  • Honour based violence

The contract is due to start on 19 September 2022 and run until 18 September 2024.
