Equalities watchdog to set up solicitors framework agreement
- Details
The Equality and Human Rights Commission is to set up a framework agreement of approved solicitors firms or organisations that it can contract with on an ad-hoc basis.
The Commission said the panel of solicitors would provide legal services to support the successful delivery of its regulatory work across its equality and human rights remit.
“Our remit is GB wide and to ensure we have the skills and expertise necessary and to support us in our three nation role, we will be appointing one panel for England and Wales and one panel for Scotland,” it added.
The contract is expected to start on 1 February 2023 and run until 31 January 2025.
