Law firm advises provider of rent-to-buy homes on collaboration agreement with registered provider

Law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has advised Rentplus-UK Ltd, a provider of affordable rent-to-buy homes, on its collaboration with new registered provider partner, South Devon Rural Housing.

The partnership will deliver more affordable rent-to-buy schemes in South Devon, plus parts of the east side of Dorset and Somerset, offering a pathway to homeownership for working families on low or middle incomes in the region.

WBD legal director Samantha Orluta, who led the team advising on the collaboration agreement, said: "We're delighted to have advised our client on this exciting partnership with South Devon Rural Housing. This is a significant development for Rentplus and marks another big step in its journey to deliver award winning affordable rent-to-buy homes in every English county.

"Our legal expertise in real estate alongside our understanding of the local market enabled us to secure the best possible outcome for our client."

Steve Collins, Rentplus CEO, said: "Our new partnership with South Devon Rural Housing continues our ambitious plans to deliver affordable rent to buy homes across the south. These much needed new homes will make a vital contribution to helping the area's working families onto an affordable pathway to homeownership without the need for an upfront deposit.

"We are grateful to the WBD team for their continued support and the quality advice we have come to expect from the firm."
