Eversheds boosts local government team with ex-head of legal at Cardiff
- Details
Eversheds has bolstered its local government practice with the hire of a former head of legal at Cardiff City Council.
Shaun Jamieson will join the firm as a Legal Director in the Cardiff office. He will assist with business development efforts in the local government sector and split his time between procurement, vires and transformation.
Jamieson’s appointment follows the announcement that Huw Rolant Jones would be the firm’s new head of local government, replacing Frances Woodhead, who moved to Bevan Brittan’s new Leeds office.
Jamieson said: “Eversheds has leading expertise in the local government sector. I was previously part of the public sector team and I look forward to re-joining the firm to support the innovative work already undertaken.”
Bridgette Wilcox, Partner and International Head of Commercial at Eversheds, said: "Shaun is a welcome addition to our team. His expertise will be a great asset as we continue to provide robust and innovative solutions to the many challenges currently facing the sector.”
