LLG invites entries to Local Government Legal Awards 2017/18
Lawyers in Local Government has called for entries for the Local Government Legal Awards 2017/18, which will be held in Birmingham.
The award categories are:
- Governance Lawyer/Team of the Year
- Business Manager/Business Team of the Year
- Litigation Lawyer/Team of the Year
- People Related Lawyer/Team of the Year
- Project Lawyer/Team of the Year
- CILEx Lawyer of the Year
- Junior Lawyer of the Year
- Local Government Legal Professional of the Year
- Legal Team of the Year.
The awards ceremony will be held at the Burlington Hotel Arcade in Birmingham on 24 November 2017. John Pienaar, Deputy Political Editor at the BBC and presenter of Pienaar’s Politics, will be the master of ceremonies.
Suki Binjal, who will be LLG President for 2017/18, said: “It has never been more important to highlight and showcase the expert, innovative and creative work currently ongoing and LLG is proud to be able to provide the platform to enable you to receive the credit and recognition you deserve.”

Suffolk Legal Services were named Team of the Year at the Local Government Legal Awards 2016. Graham Cole from Luton Borough Council meanwhile won the Local Government Legal Professional of the Year.
