Weightmans strengthens social housing team with Wilson hire
- Details
Weightmans has bolstered its social housing team with the hire of Matthew Wilson from Clarke Wilmott.
Wilson, who was admitted as a solicitor in 2006, advises and represents clients across the UK, handling a range of housing management matters including anti-social behaviour injunctions, claims for possession and disrepair claims.
He said: “Weightmans has an outstanding market reputation in the social housing sector. I have admired the firm for its commitment to providing a service which goes beyond legal advice – it is a good fit for me and I am very excited to be here.”
Partner Sian Evans added: “Our social housing clients have never been under more pressure or scrutiny and it is crucial that they receive the most commercial and intuitive support from their advisors. Matthew has an incredible amount of experience in this area, having specialised exclusively in social housing law for his entire career to date. He has brought with him some great insights, knowledge and experience and is a first-rate addition to the team.”
