Marsh returns to BDB Pitmans in boost to planning and infrastructure team

Law firm BDB Pitmans has bolstered its planning, infrastructure and public law team with the return of Richard Marsh as a partner.

Marsh, who re-joins from Eversheds Sutherland, brings the number of partners in the team to 12.

He specialises in infrastructure projects, urban regeneration schemes and major commercial and housing developments.

In July James Ross joined the team as a partner from DAC Beachcroft.

Mark Challis, head of the planning, infrastructure and public law team at BDB Pitmans, said: “I am delighted that Richard is returning to the team. We know from his time with us that he is a first class lawyer with very substantial experience in both major infrastructure consenting and town and country planning. Richard, together with our other recent and forthcoming recruits, will all have their part to play in continuing to grow these core areas of our practice, advising on a wide range of cases including some of the largest nationally significant projects in the country today.”

Richard Marsh said: “This is an exciting move for me. The firm has a really impressive offering in the market and I am looking forward to working again with the team on some of the most challenging and interesting projects around and helping it to go from strength to strength.”
