Browne Jacobson sees turnover rise 17% to £58.9m for 2014/15

National law firm Browne Jacobson grew its turnover by 17% to a record £58.9m for 2014-15, up from £50.2m in 2013-14.

The firm reported organic growth at all five of its offices: Birmingham (a 12% increase in work done), Exeter (40%), London (61%), Manchester (73%) and Nottingham (11%).

Browne Jacobson now has 103 partners and 787 staff in total. Its partner hires during the year included Stephen Matthew, who joined the Government & Infrastructure team from Nabarro.

New public sector clients brought in during the year included South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, Barnsley Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Rotherham Doncaster and South Humberside Foundation Trust and Cornwall Council. The firm was also appointed to the Surrey Councils Framework.
