Capsticks secures presence in North West with acquisition of social housing firm
- Details
Capsticks has secured its first offices in the North West with the acquisition of social housing law firm Whiteheads Solicitors.
Whiteheads, which is led by partner Paul Lloyd, has offices in Greater Manchester and Lancashire. The practice has a turnover in excess of £1m.
Following the deal Capsticks’ housing team will have 13 partners nationwide and a head count of more than 60 housing specialists across all disciplines and geographic areas.
Rachael Heenan, Capsticks Senior Partner, said: “We are delighted to welcome Paul and his team to Capsticks. Their skills will add to those of our acclaimed national housing team. This strategic acquisition is part of our commitment to our clients in the housing sector as we look to keep them one step ahead in their business operations.”
Paul Lloyd said: “Joining Capsticks will drive our first-class service to clients to a new level. Client satisfaction is at the heart of our practice and we will be looking at new and innovative ways to support and advise social housing providers in the new framework of a national firm. Capsticks’ expertise in housing and public sector legal services is second to none and will support us in delivering exemplar services across the North.”
In 2014 Capsticks acquired the Coffin Mew Housing team. Last year it took on four partners and their teams from Clarke Willmott.
