Invicta Law reports £300k+ trading profit for first six months of 2018/19
- Details
Invicta Law, the alternative business structure owned by Kent County Council, has reported more than £300,000 in underlying trading profit before tax for the six months to 30 September 2018.
This compares with a loss of £428,000 in the first half of 2017/18, although this latter period only included four months’ trading, from 1 June 2017.
“This turnaround in half-year underlying trading profitability of £730k (before taking into account business transformation expenditure required to establish solid foundations to support future growth) is extremely encouraging,” Invicta Law said in a statement.
The company added that it expected to deliver an underlying trading profit before tax for the full year, 2018/19, in excess of £500k.
Invicta Law said its board “would like to extend its thanks to all employees for their continuing hard work and dedication to the company”.
