Legal team at Bristol wins Team of the Year at LLG Awards

The City Leap Team at Bristol City Council has been named Team of the Year at the LLG Awards 2023.

Bristol City Leap is a partnership between the local authority and Ameresco aimed at accelerating green energy investment in Bristol and help towards decarbonising the city.

The awards were hosted last Friday by LLG President Rachel McKoy at the Sky Loft on the 16th Floor of the Park Regis Hotel in Birmingham, the venue of the first day of LLG’s Spring Conference. 

The West Midlands Combined Authority was highly commended and City of Wolverhampton was commended in the Team of the Year category, which was sponsored by law firms Browne Jacobson and Trowers & Hamlins

Stephen Taylor, currently monitoring officer at Slough Borough Council, was recognised for his significant contribution to the local government legal profession. This award was sponsored by Bevan Brittan and The Local Government Legal Trust.
