University legal team considers artificial technology to assist workflow

According to a prior information notice, the legal team is looking for an "innovative solution" that could include AI and human resources.

Liverpool John Moores said it hopes that the solution will "deliver faster turnaround times for routine legal workflows, improve self-service capabilities for colleagues both inside and outside of the Legal Team, and enhance data management capabilities".

With an estimated contract value of £250,000, the team is inviting companies to complete a Request for Information to enable it to perform market research prior to embarking on a tender exercise.

The university estimates that the tender will be published on 31 July 2021.

Liverpool John Moores' legal team is instructed on a number of topics, including employment law, commercial law, litigation, property, student governance and regulatory advice, and data protection matters.
