Planning specialist Lambert joins Cornerstone Barristers

Planning and environmental law specialist Emmaline Lambert has joined Cornerstone Barristers from this month.

Lambert is a highly experienced inquiry advocate, with her work covering section 78 appeals, enforcement appeals and CPO inquiries. She is currently instructed in relation to large housing schemes in West Berkshire, Horsham and Swale.

She also specialises in public law and regulatory crime. Her public law work includes highways, housing, anti-social behaviour, licensing and homelessness. In regulatory crime her work for prosecuting authorities and defendants covers trading standards, consumer protection, health and safety, food safety and environmental law.

Elizabeth Woodman, Cornerstone’s chief executive, said: "We are very pleased to welcome Emmaline to Cornerstone Barristers. Her considerable expertise across the areas of planning, public and regulatory law will make her a great addition to Chambers."

Lambert said: "I am excited to join Cornerstone and look forward to being part of this thriving and highly-regarded planning team".

She is the second barrister to join the Cornerstone Planning Team in 2017 and her arrival follows the appointment of two new planning silks in chambers earlier in the year.
